Growing up, my mom loved to entertain—she built our home around it. It’s no surprise I inherited my love of parties and hospitality from her. And if you’re ever lucky enough to meet her, I guarantee you’ll walk away with a full belly and a feeling like you are part of the fam. She taught me gratitude, determination, and how to organize my kitchen. She’s also who you can thank for my borderline OCD tendencies.
Looking back, I don’t remember a time I didn’t love planning, but I never thought it was something I’d get paid to do. Then, it was by happenstance that I was hired by a hotel right after college in the middle of a struggling economy and job market. I worked for more than 12 years in hotels planning and executing events on behalf of the venue. Now…it’s my pleasure to use that knowledge and expertise and plan beautiful events on YOUR behalf.
During my career, I have grown to love every part of the event. From brainstorming and establishing a creative vision, planning the menu, and figuring out the best napkin fold, to developing the timeline, tackling the challenges and speed bumps, executing and orchestrating the show, and even cleaning up and laughing about the memories and how sore our feet are from all the dancing!
My clients are my family. And it’s my goal to do everything I can to make their vision a reality with as little anxiety as possible. Planning should be fun! Not stressful.
